Our Pet Sitting Policies

We have your pet's best interest in mind with our policies!

  1. All pets must be up-to-date on all vaccinations (unless your veterinarian says they are not well enough or old enough for all vaccines)
  2. All owners must sign the authorization for emergency treatment (see this attachment)
  3. All owners must fill out the pet information sheet for all pets (see this attachment)
  4. We prefer for pets to be spayed or neutered, but do not require it when we are coming to your home.

For anyone wishing for their pet to stay in our home, they and their pet must adhere to these requirements:

  1. The pet must be spayed or neutered.
  2. The pet must be current on vaccines (listed below).
  3. The pet must be in good health and able to handle living with 3 large, young dogs for the duration of their stay.
  4. The owner must understand that their animal(s) may be injured during their stay, though we will do all we can to avoid an incident from occurring, not every altercation can be avoided!  This is a risk that is taken whenever animals are housed together!
  5. The pet must pass our in-home evaluation.  They have a "test night" where they stay at our home over night, meet all of our animals, and we see how they sleep and get along in our home.  If they all get along and your pet does not have too much trouble following our rules, then we will go further with the stay-over plans.
  6. We highly suggest (though do not require) that your dog be evaluated for Canine Playgroups at Blair Animal Clinic in West Lafayette.

*Please Note*
Sleep overs might be extremely stressful for some pets.  So we will evaluate each animal individually, we will use our years of animal experience to determine if your pet will fit into our home!

If there are questions about these policies please just let us know!
